What are you made for?
I was having a lovely spa day with my Mom over Easter weekend. Enjoying the serene surroundings of one of the most luxurious spas in my area, I felt so at home and so grateful to be able to gift my mom some pampering. And the thought, “I was made for this,” popped into my head.
Like many women, perhaps even you, too, I didn’t grow up with wealth or spa days.
So it is easy to see why walking into something like a luxurious spa with all of the amenities - the steam rooms, the rain showers, the robes, the slippers, the relaxation room with a wonderful fireplace and complimentary champagne - let alone investing hundreds of dollars in treatments and care, might have you looking around going, “Who’s life did I just step into? Is this really for me? Who am I to be in here?”
And you’re probably thinking right now of when you’ve experienced this yourself, whether at a spa, restaurant, or another event or situation, right?
But the thing is, do you desire to be there? Do you desire to have that experience?
If you do, then you are made to live that life. Because what most women don’t realize is that your desires are your birthright. Everything you desire is not only possible for you, but is meant for you.
So whether you desire a Lambo or a Honda, a private jet to travel around the world, a mansion on Lake Como or dream of a small, cozy home, this is what you are made for.
And even though this sounds nice and you’re probably nodding your head saying, “Yes, I was born to live this way! I can have it all,” something inside of you just doesn’t REALLY believe it, right?
Well, that’s because you’ve been taught by the world and your upbringing that you might not belong in certain places and that some doors just might not open for you. This is especially true for women as we continue to bang up against the glass ceiling of our patriarchal, masculine world.
Plus, because you’ve likely not experienced your desires before or seen them lived by someone close to you, someone LIKE you, it can be hard to believe your desires are actually possible for you.
But here’s the thing…not only are your desires possible for you, that is a Universal Truth, but you belong exactly where you say you belong.
It’s only the garbage teachings of the world that have you questioning your worth, whether you belong in the places of your wildest dreams, and what is possible for you. And up until this point, you and most women are caught in those limiting beliefs, which is why you don’t yet have what you want in your life.
But I’d love to offer you this…
Own your space. Own the ground under your feet.
Shift your limiting beliefs from places of doubt, low self-worth, and uncertainty to powerful places of confidence, self-acceptance, and trust in yourself.
Rewrite your narrative to a story of “I belong exactly where I choose and say I belong!” and “I am made for everything I desire!”
Now, I ask you, how does that feel? Besides, it’s already all your birthright, Goddess. So why not claim it, right?
