You're Wasting Your Time Meditating Unless You're Doing This...
I recently was speaking with a student during one of my membership’s live coaching calls about how she was meditating, doing affirmations, and reading excerpts from Love Yourself Like Your Life Depends on It daily, but in her own words, they “wouldn’t take.”
Despite her efforts, life wasn’t changing for her. In fact, she was becoming more distracted and less present during meditation, afterward feeling frustrated and even angry at the whole process and herself.
Sound familiar? That used to be me, too.
Now, I know everybody’s telling you to meditate and that it will change your life.
But here’s the thing…
If your intention is to REALLY create long-lasting changes in your life, then meditating, affirmations, reading all the books is a waste of your time unless you’re reprogramming your subconscious identity.
Now don't get me wrong. If your intention is to feel better, more peaceful, or grounded temporarily, then affirmations, books, and meditating (which isn't really meditating BTW, but that's a whole other conversation), then these tools have the potential to greatly help you with that.
But they're not going to foundationally and permanently shift things in your life.
Why? Because all of that is just content – information you’re trying to cram between your ears. Content does not drive your life. Your subconscious identity does. It forms your life.
Your subconscious identity ignores all content that is not congruent with your identity. So no matter how many times you listen to a guided meditation that tells you you’re rich, but you have the identity of “just enough” or “not enough” money, your identity will reject what that guided meditation is telling you.
That guided meditation you’re doing is literally falling on deaf ears.
Consuming content that is not aligned with your subconscious identity keeps you churning and stuck, and what most women do is then consume even MORE content thinking that they just need to listen or DO more to break through.
And that’s exactly what my student was doing. She upped her meditation to twice a day. And still no results.
Because long-term lasting results in your life happen ONLY when your FREQUENCY rises to a higher level for the long term. And you living at a higher frequency long term happens ONLY when you reprogram your subconscious identity to BE at that higher frequency.
That's why just any old way of meditating or doing affirmations, courses, coaching, or reading books will either get you nowhere or will get you fleeting results at best. And I know that’s not what you’re looking for.
So if you’ve been doubling down on your meditations, affirmations, and such without seeing the changes you want yet, take heart.
You’ve not been doing them “wrong.” It's that THAT content is not being delivered to you in a way that is designed to reprogram your subconscious identity.
