Who else loves a good summer read with a hearty dash of the magical about a big hearted heroine finally realizing, accepting, and stepping into her true power?

I confess, Tricia O’Malley is one of my fave authors for this, particularly her Siren Island Series for summertime zone-out-relaxation-fun reading. 😊 I’m a sucker for mermaids. You, too?

Did you ever notice that usually along the way to the heroine stepping into her true power, she had to USE her power for some good? Maybe it was to heal someone on the brink of death, to vanquish an evil army, to break a centuries old curse, or to save a village from a hurricane. Yet, it was always in some way contributing to “save the world,” help others, and bring healing and light.

Only THEN, did the heroine truly really claim, embrace, and embody her true divine birthright powers. Only THEN, did she receive the life she dreamed of – the handsome love of her life, the peace, the fulfillment, the sense of meaning and purpose in her life, the abundance, the unshakeable confidence and knowing of who she really is.

I love that in many of these stories there is a glimmer of truth about how the Universe really works. Our greatest good, all of our powers, and all of our wishes in life truly and FULLY manifest for us when we not only remember who we are and reclaim our power, but when we use it and our inherent, unique gifts to open-heartedly CONTRIBUTE to the good of the world.

Because this is the radiant frequency of love, the highest frequency in the Universe, and you receive back what you put out.

For the heroine, it wasn’t about accomplishment or achievement or getting something for herself. But instead, it was about service. Contribution.

Yes, you can attract some wonderful things you want into your life without focusing on using your gifts for the good of others or the world. And that is just fine. I promise you, no judgement here.
